When you run maintenance plans, ensure that no objects in the database are locked. If any are locked, you must unlock them first. See DOCUMENTS Help for instructions.
Alternatively, you can use this setting to perform maintenance plans even though some objects are locked. Turning this setting on does not unlock them, but it allows the maintenance plan to run in spite of this.
Note: Use this setting with care. ReadSoft recommends running maintenance plans when there are no locked objects in the database.
