Add New Database window

Use this window to add a fuzzy or relational database. A fuzzy database can either be stored on your local computer or it can be hosted on a Kofax Search and Matching Server. The following settings are available:

Database Name

Type the name of the database. (Default: Database)

Database Type

Select one of the following settings:

• Associative Search Database. (Default: Selected)

  Associative Search Databases will be deprecated in a future release of Kofax Transformation Modules. As a result, Kofax recommends that you switch to a local fuzzy database or a remote fuzzy database via Kofax Search and Matching Server.

• Local Fuzzy Database.

• Remote Fuzzy Database.

• Relational Database.
