Special purpose fields

You can define single item field for these special purposes:

Manual entry field	A field whose value is typed in by the Verify operator.
External program field	A field whose value is set and used by an external program. The field is not shown to the Verify operator. The field status is set to Complete.
On/off field	A field whose value is set to 1 if a specified title text appears on the document.

To create these fields, select these field treatment settings in the Options settings:

Manual entry field	Select No interpretation.
External program field	Select No interpretation and No verification.
On/off field	Select Title occurrence sets value. (More information.)
