When you specify the names of the items listed in the table below, you can use any characters except apostrophes ( ' ), including Chinese characters and so on. The maximum number of characters in each type of name is listed below.

File names
When you specify a file name, the characters and the length must meet the requirements for Windows file names. Examples of files are: Transfer files and batch report layout files.
