Configure Active Directory

Active Directory (AD) is a directory service that Microsoft developed for Windows domain networks, and it is included in most Windows Server operating systems as a set of processes and services.

Transact can integrate with AD to Authenticate and Authorize users as a way to control access to different aspects of the application:

• Logon access

• Access to specific batch classes

• Specific batch instances

• Specific pages in the Transact interface
