Configure the Scripting settings
You can configure what scripting settings should be used as default for the script activities.

Navigate to

The Scripting dialog box is displayed.
- By default, the Language is VBSCRIPT.

To add the data exchange script for a script activity, do the following:

Under
Script languages, on the
Name list, select an activity, such as
CSHARP and click
.
The Update script dialog box is displayed.

The
Script name field displays the name of the selected script activity.
The Script name that appears is non-editable.

Enter the new script in the
Data exchange script box.
The template script is loaded by default in the Template script box.

Click
Save.
The Scripting dialog box appears.

Under
Script languages, on the
Name list, select an activity, such as
CSHARP and click
.

By default,
Preload and run data exchange function is selected which allows executing
data exchange script prior to executing the script entered for an activity.
Note Once this option is selected, it will be checked for each new script activity added.

By default, the template script is loaded for
CSHARP and
VBNET activities. To add a default template script for
VBSCRIPT activity, do the following:

Under
Script languages, on the
Name list, select an activity, such as
VBSCRIPT and click
.
The Update script dialog box is displayed.

The
Script name field displays the name of the selected script activity.
The Script name that appears is non-editable.
- Enter the script in the Template script box.

Click
Save.
The Scripting dialog box appears.

Under
Script languages, on the
Name list, select an activity, such as
VBSCRIPT and click
