Configure a backup license server

You can view the license servers associated with your system and configure additional license servers as backup.

The License servers option is only available for TotalAgility on-premise; it is not available for Designer running in on-premise multi-tenant or Azure environment.

  1. Navigate to System > System settings > License servers and statistics > License servers.

    The License servers dialog box is displayed.

  2. The Name and Port number for the Primary Server that you provided when you installed TotalAgility appear.
  3. To activate the Backup Server, perform the following steps:
    1. Select Configure backup server.
    2. Enter a unique Name and Port number for the backup server.

      Note For a clean TotalAgility installation, the properties for the backup server are blank. The name and port number are provided when you purchase a backup server license. These details appear on the Information tab of the Backup server statistics dialog box. See Set threshold for a backup server for more information.

  4. Click Save.

    Restart the Kofax TotalAgility services for the settings to take effect.
