Customize the capture forms
Customize a capture form generated for activities such as Scan, Validation, Verification and Document review.
The input and output variables for the activity appear as controls on the generated form. You can add new controls, move controls, and remove existing controls.

Open the capture form to customize.

The capture control appears. For example, validation control appears on a validation form.

The existing properties of the form are displayed in the properties panel.

Additionally, the Refresh interval and Override table auto-height settings are also available. The Refresh capture form action is available for Scan activity form.

- Add additional controls as needed.

You can associate the form with another process.
- On the Form modeling bar, click .
- Under Update associated file select the Process to associate the form with.

Click
Update.
The form is updated with the selected process and activity/extraction group.

Note When you take the manual capture activity at runtime, the latest released version of the form loads. The input and output variables appear on the Activity tab of the Composite Capture control.
- Close the form.

Take and complete activities at runtime.

Take and complete ordinary activities after generating a Create new job form. See Build a Create new job form.

Take and complete the capture activities after generating a Scan create new job form. See Build a Scan create new job form. Uncommitted documents eventually expire. If this occurs, the system generates a warning. Cancel and retry your action.
Configure the main toolbar and image viewer toolbar commands
You can configure a capture form (generated for Scan, Validation, Verification and Document review activities) at design time to selectively hide all or individual buttons on the main tool bar and the Image viewer toolbar at runtime.
If a command is disabled, appropriated toolbar button is hidden at runtime and corresponding keyboard shortcut does not work. If you open the shortcut help window (by pressing the Ctrl key), all the hidden commands are excluded from this window.

The Forms page appears.
- Click the capture form to open.
- In the Properties panel of the form, click the Configuration tab.

By default, the capture form displays all the buttons on the main toolbar at runtime. To restrict an individual
button from displaying at runtime, do the following in the
Main toolbar commands group:

Select the button/label such as
Delete document, from the table, and click
on the header.
The selected button/label name appears in the Name field.
- Clear the checkbox for Enabled.
- Click OK.
Note You cannot disable the following commands: Complete activity, Complete activity and Take next, Cancel activity, Create job, Scan and Scan all. -
