OmniPage Asian OCR

The OmniPage Asian OCR supports the following Asian languages:

• Traditional Chinese

• Simplified Chinese

• Japanese

• Korean

• Thai

• Arabic

• Hebrew

The following restrictions apply for the above languages in the Asian OCR.

• Each language has to be set alone, or with English only.

• Arabic recognizes English words only when the English language is also selected.

• Arabic does not support deskew detection.
