Upgrades and field groups

When you open a project that was created in a previous version of Tungsten Transformation Toolkit, your project is updated automatically. The changes made to the project include modifications to the Project Tree structure to support field groups. Fields are now stored in field groups to aid with project organization.

When a Tungsten Transformation Toolkit project created with a previous version is first opened in this version of Tungsten Transformation Toolkit, field groups are created using the <ClassName>_FieldGroup syntax and all non-inherited fields in that class are placed in this group.

In addition to the introduction of field groups in the Project Tree, grouping your training fields in the Edit Document window is no longer possible. Instead, the fields are organized in their field groups from the Project Tree.

As a consequence of this upgrade, your project is no longer compatible with Tungsten Transformation Toolkit 2025.1 or previous versions of Tungsten Transformation Toolkit or the Project Builder.
