Classification online learning and training documents

If your project is configured to use classification online learning, documents are flagged in the following ways:

• Documents are flagged automatically a document is reclassified by a Validation or Document Review user.

• Documents are flagged if the Allow Problem Reporting setting is enabled and a user manually submits a problem report for a document in Validation.

  These documents must be reviewed by an administrator before they are used for online learning.

• Documents are flagged via script.

What happens with the dynamic classifiers depends if the project is configured to make use of them. These are the possibilities:

1. If the Use Classification Online Learning setting is not enabled then the dynamic classifier is not created and cannot be used by the Server.

   Flagged documents are added to the New Samples document set so that you can import them into the Project Builder. The only case where the training information is used is when the project is published after it is trained using the new training information.

2. You can use training data directly during production to enhance classification.

   The Use dynamic classifiers during classification setting is selected the in Advanced Online Learning Options window and that the workflow queue contains the Knowledge Base Learning Server.

   In this use case, the Knowledge Base Learning Server creates the dynamic classifiers and collects documents for the New Samples.
