When you specify a custom query on the General tab and click Test query button, the test fails with a "Bad command syntax" error message.	The possible reasons of this error are as follows: You have specified an incorrect IMAP query. To fix it, revise your query to make sure that it is correct. Your query contains extra spaces. To fix it, make sure that your query does not contain extra spaces between query expressions and inside them. Your mail server does not support multiline IMAP search queries.
