Updating the Card Reader Firmware

If you receive a firmware update, you can apply it to the Ethernet Card Readers in System Manager.

  1. Go to System Manager > Devices and select one or more card readers.
  2. Select Update Firmware from the Select Action drop-down list.
  3. In the Update Kofax Card Reader(s) Firmware dialog box do the following:
    1. Select the DCS (Device Control Server) Server that manages the Ethernet card readers.
    2. Browse to the location of the firmware update file and click Open.
  4. Click Yes to update the firmware.
