Import Several Devices at One Time

To import several devices from the CSV file, do the following:

  1. In the Devices menu, select Physical Devices.
  2. On the Physical Devices page, select Import from the Add Physical Device drop-down-list.
  3. On the Device Import page, select the .csv file to import by clicking Click here to browse....
  4. Select the CSV file and click Open to bring it into Web System Manager.
  5. Click Show preview. The Device Import Preview page appears with the selections you have made in the CSV file marked as either Create, Update or Delete.
    If the value of a device is incorrect, the warning message appears with the error description.
  6. Select the devices you want to import and click Start.
    Devices can also be deleted from your setup via the CSV import file.
  7. The imported devices are added to the Physical Devices list.
