Creating an I-Queue

Use the Sources > I-Queue link to create an I-Queue in Equitrac.

  1. To use I-Queue prinitng, enable I-Queue and enter a I-Queue label.
    I-Queue prints to a general queue, and the user logs into a device to release the job.
  2. To use the I-Queue direct printing mode, turn on the I-Queue Direct key, and enter I-Queue direct label.
    I-Queue Direct prints directly to a device without any pre-installed printer driver. The user does not need to log into the device to release print jobs.
    You can use one or both of the I-Queue printing modes together.
  3. In the Behaviour section, select a printing Rule set for the I-Queue from the drop-down list. See Creating Print Rules.
  4. In the General Pricing Section, select a Primary and Secondary (if configured for dual pricing) Print price to be applied at the I-Queue level. If no price lists were configured, then the default price is used.
  5. Under Departmental Pricing, click +Add to add a department price for the I-Queue.
  6. When the Departmental Price List dialog opens, select a Type, Department and Price List from the drop-down lists. These options must be configured before Departmental Pricing can be added. See Departmental Pricing for details.
  7. Click Apply to save the I-Queue configurations.
