Configuring Smart Card Through Xerox® Authentication
- Start a web browser, and enter the IP address of the Xerox® device in the Address field.
- The Xerox web configuration page opens (CentreWare Internet Services).
- Click the Properties tab, expand the Security folder in the left pane, then select Authentication Configuration.

Select No Passcode Required from the Smart Card Link Mode
drop-down list if only a User ID is required to register the card.
- Or -Select Enter Passcode from the Smart Card Link Mode drop-down list if both User ID and Passcode are required to register the card.
- Click the Apply button to save the setting.

Close the web browser.
Note: The Smart Card link Mode may not be visible until the EPA card reader is configured and the device has been rebooted.
