Configure an embedded SQL Server Compact database

To configure the embedded SQL Server Compact database, do the following:

  1. In Business Connect Server Configuration Manager, click the Database tab.
  2. Ensure , that the Use built-in database file checkbox is selected.
  3. Click Change password to create a unique database password for your installation, and then click OK.
    Change Built-in Database Password
    For Current password, type the default password, which is:
    Pass@123
    Then enter your new password in the New password and Retype password fields.
  4. Click Test to check the database connection.
  5. Click Apply to save your changes.
    Note:

    The initial SQL Server Compact database is created automatically. If desired, click Create Database to replace an existing SQL Server Compact database.
