Box Component Settings Dialog Box
Set options in the Box or Box eConnector dialog box to log into the Box system.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Activate | This check box activates the component according to a condition (see Conditional Activation). This option is available only for the eConnector. |
Pass through | Select this option to pass the document to the subsequent components in the workflow. This option is available only in eConnector. |
Login |
Enter the user account (email address) which is used to upload files to the Box app. This field is required. By default, this field is blank. |
Accounts |
This field displays e-mails of the authenticated user. This field is read-only. By default, this field is blank. |
Add | Click this button to log in to the box service. This opens a Box
Login window for the Box service that allows you to log on to the
service (for more information, see How to log in
to the Box service). After your log on is completed, the user account is displayed in the Accounts field. You can add more user accounts from here. |
Remove | Select one user account in Accounts field then click this button to remove the selected user. The token is not open for the removed user. |
Select |
If in the Accounts field has numerous user accounts, select one account and click this button. The selected account is displayed in the Active Account field dynamically. |
Active Account |
This field displays the user account selected via the Accounts text field. This field is read-only. |
Destination | Specify the folder in the Box account into which the documents will be uploaded. If the specified folder does not exist, it will be created at run time.
Click browse button (...) locate an existing folder in the Box Directory window.
If you leave this field blank, documents will be uploaded to the root folder in the box directory. You can use RRTs in this field.
The length of the folder name is limited to 100 characters. The name of the folder can contain neither of the following characters: / \ ". The back slash and forward slash characters (\ and /) can be used as folder separators. The root folder is indicated by the back slash (\). |
Rename file | Select this check box to enter a rename scheme for routed files.
For example, if the original document name is Mythology, Madness and Laughter: Subjectivity in German Idealism. Slavoj Žižek.pdf,

Replace invalid characters with "_" | Select this check box to replace invalid characters in file names with the underscore character (_). If this check box is not selected and the file name contains the invalid characters / \ ", then the file will not be uploaded to the server. |
Overwrite existing file by adding new version | Select this check box if you want that the components adds a new version of the file into the Box repository. |
Description | Provide a description for the files that are uploaded to this location. |
Tags | Enter a list of comma separated tags that will be added to the uploaded files. |
Share | Click Yes in this box to share uploaded files with other users. This functionality is provided by the Box service. |
Use proxy server |
Click this check box to use a proxy server to upload files. Selecting this check box enables the following fields: Server, Port, User name, Password. |
Server |
Enter the IP address of the proxy server into this field. By default, this field is blank. |
Port |
Enter the port of the proxy server into this field. By default, this field is blank. |
User name |
Enter the user account to login to the proxy server. By default, this field is blank. |
Password |
Enter the user password to login to the proxy server. By default, this field is blank Note: If any information of the proxy server you provide is invalid (for
example, an invalid IP address is entered for
Server), the token will be invalid when the
configuration is running and the file is rejected.
