Physical Device Advanced Settings

To configure physical device advanced settings, do the following:

  1. In Devices, select Physical Devices and select a device from the list.
  2. Select Advanced in the Settings menu and do the following:
    1. Enter Monthly volume and Speed (in pages per minute) in the appropriate fields.
    2. Select one of the following options from the Track mailbox & proof printing drop-down list:
    • At send time: when printing is being tracked by a printer port or DRC.
    • At output time: when printing is being tracked locally by polling the device for print activity.
  3. Select one or more Printer Language check boxes to set printer languages for the Managed device.
    Note: While creating a Managed Queue, by default, some printer languages are selected. These are HP-GL/2, HP RTL, PCL3-6, PostScript, Ricoh IPDL-C, Ricoh RPCS, Text, XPS.
  4. Enter a number in the Lines per page for text field.
  5. Click Save to save the physical device advanced settings.
