Physical Device eCopy Integration

To configure physical device eCopy settings, do the following:

  1. In Devices, select Physical Devices and select a device from the list.
  2. Select eCopy in the Settings menu to enable the Add eCopy Integration option.
  3. Enter a Description if necessary.
  4. Select a DCE Server from the drop-down list.
  5. Enter the IP Address of the eCopy server.
  6. Enter the Embedded (ShareScan) IP address. This is the IP Address of the physical device (this is editable).
  7. Enter the Server port number. The default port 9325 and must match the port defined on the eCopy ShareScan server for communication with the DCE server.
  8. Enter the Delimiter character used to separate transaction records.
  9. Enter the Connection timeout value, in milliseconds, that closes the connection if no communication with the ScanStation server is established.
  10. Select Yes or No from the Send password drop-down list. When Equitrac communicates with ShareScan through the Cost Recovery protocol, determine whether password should be or not sent to ShareScan.
  11. Select the eCopy version from the drop-down list. This is the protocol version of the Cost Recovery Connector.
  12. Enter the TripleDES encryption key supplied by eCopy for the version 3 protocol.
  13. Click Save to save the physical device eCopy settings.
