Single Device Install

To install the Equitrac Embedded for HP OXP solution on a single device, do the following:

  1. Open a web browser, and enter the URL: http://<MFP_IP_address> in the address field.
  2. Login with your Administrator credentials.
  3. Click the General tab, and select Solution Installer from the left navigation pane.
  4. Click Browse, and navigate to the location you have saved the device binary file (either EquitracAuthenticate_CE.bdl or EquitracAuthenticate_CE_Arm.bdl) and open it.
  5. Click Install to upload the embedded solution on the device.
  6. A Confirmation Page opens stating that the file has been uploaded.
    If the IP address for the DCE server has not been specified, a message displays on the MFP screen when the device reboots. In this case, enter the IP address of the DCE server and press Connect.
