Scan image orientation

ApeosPort-V with Apeos JF SCLIPT language version 3.5.0 installed operates differently in image orientation handling than previous versions (ApeosPort-IV or earlier).

When scanning an image, the vertical direction that you see when facing the control panel of the MFP device becomes the horizontal direction of the image. After you have set the orientation of the scan image with scan parameters, the image after orientation adjustment becomes the output image.

Note: The output image varies according to the various MFP devices.

By changing the MFP device settings, ApeosPort-V can become backward compatible with ApeosPort-IV or earlier in image handing. If you are not sure how to perform this configuration, contact your Xerox representative.
