Configure Session Logon service with Microsoft Entra ID
To configure the eCopy ShareScan Session Logon service with Microsoft Entra ID, do the following.
- Open the Session Logon service configuration panel and set the Configured setting as Yes in the Administration Console.
- Select Microsoft Entra ID as Type and enter your Microsoft 365 Tenant on the appearing Select Domain / Tenant / NDS Server dialog and click OK.
- Specify the User Name of the user who previously authorized the Token Vault in Microsoft 365 through the Token Vault Microsoft 365 Authorization provider configured for Session Logon service. The user name must be specified in User Principal Name (UPN) format.
- Enter the Authorization Provider Id of the Token Vault Microsoft 365 Authorization provider configured for Session Logon service.

Click the
Test button to verify the configuration.
The Test Session Logon dialog with the configured user and tenant is displayed.
- Generate a one-time passcode either in Token Vault or in your authenticator app depending on how you set up your one-time passcode generator in Token Vault, and specify it as Passcode.
- Click Test. (If you have not authorized Token Vault in Microsoft 365 through the Token Vault Authorization provider, which Id was specified in Step 4, with the user specified in Step 3 and/or the passcode specified above is not valid, the test fails).
- Configure other Session logon service settings and then click Save.
