Routing template tab

Use this tab to enter information about the routing template used and information about the corresponding task. Routing templates are defined processes to which a document can be assigned so that it becomes a task for participants.

Option Description
Routing template

Enter the routing template the document is assigned to. You can use the Select Routing Template dialog box to browse for a specific routing template, enter the routing template manually or use any RRTs.

This field must be empty or must contain an RRT or any valid routing template. Otherwise the configuration cannot be saved. If RRT is used that results in an invalid routing template during runtime, then an exception is thrown. If this field is left empty, then the document is not assigned to any routing template.
Rename task title

Use these options to set the title of the task on the server. Select the checkbox to enable renaming the task title, and enter a title in the text box next to the checkbox.

The behavior of the component in setting the title is as follows:

  • If the Rename task title checkbox is not selected, the task title is generated as follows: routing template title + ‘: ‘ + document title.
  • If the Rename task title checkbox is selected, then the text box is used. In this case it must not be empty. Otherwise the configuration cannot be saved.
Flag Use this option to flag the task.
You can use RRTs or any Boolean constants in this field. 'yes', 'true', 'on', '1' (upper or lower case) is evaluated as YES; 'no', 'false', 'off', '0' is evaluated as NO.
Task(s)

You can specify the behavior of the task(s) in case conflict-handling action Overwrite, Append, Prepend or Insert is executed.

In case conflict-handling action Append, Prepend or Insert is executed, in the background a new document is created with a new object handle and the old document is deleted.

  • Keep existing — Existing tasks will be kept. (One document can be assigned to multiple tasks.) New document will be assigned to all existing tasks. Task-related RRTs will be evaluated from the first existing task.
  • Create new — All existing tasks will be deleted. One new task will be created.

Task due date

You can specify the due date of the task (if new task is created).

  • From template — Task due date is set by the template. For example, 30 working days from start date. This value is set on the web surface when the routing template is defined.
  • Custom — Custom due date is set at AutoStore. You can use the Select Date dialog box to select expiration date or any RRTs. If you use RRTs, then several date/time formats are supported.

Info button — You can get up-to-date information about the default due date of the routing template in a dialog box.
