View messages

You can view all messages that are related to a specific invoice or purchase order document. Based on these messages, you can make any necessary changes to the document before it is sent to a workflow or posted to SAP.

To view the messages, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Worklist, select Invoices.
  2. Select an invoice document.
  3. In the Document detail view, click the Messages button.

    The existing messages are displayed. The messages are displayed in chronological order, with the latest messages at the top of the list. Each message line is a summary of an action or event.

    If there are no messages to display, you receive a notification. Use the Audit trail button to view messages from previous workflow steps.

  4. In the Actions pane, select the action for which you want to view the individual messages.

    The Events pane displays the corresponding messages. A colored icon indicates the status of the action that resulted in a message.
