Synchronization logs

Each time the data in the SAP system is synchronized with the portal data, a corresponding synchronization log is created, providing the details about the objects and documents that were synchronized.

Synchronization logs are available for incremental synchronization runs only, no logs are created for the initial synchronization. If a log is required for the initial synchronization, it needs to be configured. Data security is ensured in the following ways.

• Synchronization is always initiated from the SAP side, the portal never calls into the SAP system.

• The transmission is HTTPS encrypted.
