When logging in to the portal, users need to identify themselves by providing either their user name or their email address and password.

Email addresses can be changed, but user names are fixed and unchangeable.

The email addresses are also used to notify users when specific actions are performed to their accounts, or to invoices and purchase orders. For more information, see Assign email templates to user-related actions and Enable email notifications for document-related actions.
