Show and hide fields

By modifying the field profiles that are available for invoices, purchase orders and vendor master data, you can configure which fields should be available to different user groups.

To show and hide fields, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Worklist, select Configuration > Fields configuration > Fields visibility.
  2. Select the view that you want to configure.
    • To show and hide fields in the Document detail view, select Document.

    • To show and hide fields in the Document overview list, select Lists.

  3. Select the document type that you want to configure.

    A list of all field profiles that you can configure is displayed.

  4. Select the field profile that you want to configure.
  5. In the corresponding pane, make the changes, as required.
    • To show a not yet visible field, select Visible.

    • To allow modifications to existing field data, select Editable.

    • To make the entering of data for a field mandatory, select Mandatory.

    If a condition is displayed in the pane header, the field profiles in this pane are applied only if the condition is met, that is, if the document fields match the condition values.
  6. Click Save.
