Deploying with Equitrac

  1. Prepare for deployment.
    1. Verify that your device is supported.
    2. Verify prerequisites.
    3. Verify that installer packages are provided using ControlSuite. For details, refer to the ControlSuite overview.
  2. Install and configure the Equitrac server.
  3. Set up a Canon device.
    1. Configure the Canon MFP language and settings before installation.
    2. Manually install Unified Client package for Canon.
    3. Configure the device certificate on the device.
  4. Install and configure Device Registration Service (DRS).
    1. Create and add application in DRS.
    2. Add and configure the device in DRS.
    3. Register the Canon device using DRS.
  5. Prepare your first Equitrac print job and verify the installation.
    1. License Equitrac.
    2. Send your first print job to Equitrac.
    3. Verify the installation.
