Set up the Tungsten button on Equitrac

You can open the launcher from the Toshiba launcher and add a Tungsten icon button when setting up Equitrac.

You can set up a Tungsten icon button:

  • Manually during a first-time installation
  • When changing DWS servers or creating new configurations (Equitrac and AutoStore or AutoStore only)

During a first-time installation on eBN devices

Before you begin, ensure that a Toshiba device is installed and registered using DRS.
  1. Log in and go to Settings > Button Contents.
  2. Press + to add a new button.
  3. Press on registry from URL list and select Tungsten URL.
    To add a new icon, press icon and select the Tungsten icon button from the icons list.
  4. Press OK and Confirm and close the Settings window. When you press the Tungsten button, the Tungsten launcher with the proper Equitrac workflows.

During a first-time installation on eBX devices

Before you begin, ensure that a Toshiba device is installed and registered using DRS.
  1. Log in and go to Menu.
  2. Press Extension.

When changing DWS servers or creating new configurations on eBN devices

Before you begin, ensure that when you change Equitrac servers, you also point DRS to a different DWS server.
  1. Uninstall and deregister using DRS on any existing Toshiba Client.
  2. Delete the old embedded devices from System Manager.
  3. At the TopAccess level, delete any preexisting CA certificate and upload the new dws-root-ca certificate.
  4. Install and register using DRS.
  5. After the first login to the device, the user must delete the old Tungsten button.
    1. Log in and go to Settings > Button Contents.
    2. Press X on the Tungsten button to delete it and press OK to confirm this action.
    3. Press + to add a new button.
    4. Press on registry from URL list and select Tungsten URL.
      To add a new icon, press icon and select the Tungsten icon button from the icons list.
    5. Press OK and then Confirm and close the Settings window. Check upon pressing Tungsten button that the user is navigated to Tungsten launcher with the proper Equitrac workflows.

When changing DWS servers or creating new configurations on eBX devices

Before you begin, ensure that when you change Equitrac servers, you also point DRS to a different DWS server.
  1. Uninstall and deregister using DRS on any existing Toshiba Client.
  2. Delete old embedded devices from System Manager.

  4. Install and register using DRS.
