Card reader configuration

Unified Client for Fujifilm supports Tungsten and third-party card readers. For a list of supported readers, see the Unified Client for Fujifilm Technical Specifications.

Setting up a card reader for a Fujifilm device requires the following general steps:

  1. Configure the card reader.
  2. Configure the Fujifilm device so it can connect to the card reader.
  3. Install the card reader on the device.

If a card reader is plugged in after the Unified Client for Fujifilm is installed, you must restart the device.

Tungsten card readers can also be used with compatible NFC smartphones using Business Connect.

To use the Tungsten USB Card Reader, the Tungsten Card reader must be set in Baltech mode.

To use an Elatec card reader, the card reader must be set in Keyboard mode.
