Role

  • Details: Opens the Properties tab of the Edit Role Details dialog box, where you can change the details of the selected role.

  • Role Membership: Opens the Users tab of the Edit Role Details dialog box, where you can view, add, and remove members of the selected role.

  • Permissions: Opens the System Permissions tab of the Edit Role Details dialog box, where you can change which modules are accessible by the members of this role by selecting the appropriate check boxes.

  • Capture Profile Permissions: Opens the Capture Profile Permissions tab of the Edit Role Details dialog box, where you can change which capture profiles are accessible by the members of this role by selecting the appropriate check boxes.

  • Delete: Completely removes the selected role.

    The four default roles (All Users, Administrator, No Permissions, and Utility User) cannot be deleted.
