Examples of profiles with triggers

The Profile tab is configured as follows:

• Separation type: Variable length

• Keep Document separator: selected

• Delete back of Document separator sheets: selected

• Separator: Separate on specific Bar Code values and patterns

• Zone to search: <Entire Page>

• Separation values: ^MP$

• Populate value with: Entire Separator Value

In this case, the user would like to set up a profile with variable length documents, in which a bar code whose value is MP causes document separation.

The Trigger tab is configured as follows:

• Trigger type: Activate on specific Bar Code values and patterns

• Zone to search: <Entire Page>

• Activation values: ^MP$

• Trigger options: all selected

The trigger is set to a bar code whose value is MP.

The Profile tab is configured as follows:

• Separation type: Fixed length

• Pages per Document: 1

• Mark first page of Document as separator: selected

• Double-sided pages count as one Document page: not selected

In this case, the user would like to set up a profile with fixed length documents containing only one image. The document separator cannot be deleted, since it is the only page in the document.
