Auto Processing

Auto Processing is used to adjust different aspects of a page or document. For example, users can adjust orientation, flagging, or redaction. To enable this function, select the Enable Auto Processing box and add aspects to change.

Enable this feature to add the QA module to Auto Import, Auto Processing capture profiles, and standard, queue-based capture profiles.

Auto Processing commands

Add one or more of the available commands by clicking the desired command once and then clicking Add -->.

The selected commands run in the order listed. Correct placement is critical to get the desired results. Example: Reordering would usually occur before combining, and combining happens before separating by number of pages.

Automation

Automatically open next Batch with the same Capture Profile as the current Batch: Process multiple, queued batches of this type from the QA module.

Automatically close Batches after running auto processing: Close each batch after running the QA auto processing functions.

Select first flagged item in Batch after running auto processing:

  • Any Flag

  • Delete Flag

  • Review Flag

  • Reject Flag

  • Process Flag

  • Skip Flag

Exceptions processing

Select one from the following processing options:

  • Automatically reject items to Exceptions Batch that fail validation: Selecting this option causes folders and documents that fail validation to be moved to an exception batch, whose name is the same as the original ("Exception"). Existing data is saved and moved.

  • Mark items that fail validation and load Batch in QA module, displaying first failed item: Selecting this option causes all records that fail validation to be marked and the first record that fails validation to be loaded on the screen.

  • Mark items that fail validation and suspend Batch in QA module: Selecting this option causes items that fail validation to be marked, and once they are marked, the batch is suspended.

Suppress suspended Batch error reporting during Auto Import: When this feature is enabled, batches that encounter an error while performing QA Auto Processing during Auto Import and Workflow Auto Processing do not display errors within the PSIcapture log.
