Watermarking

With this tool, users can create custom watermarking through manual specifications, or image-based watermarking by uploading an image and customizing its placement.

When clicking Setup to place a watermark on a page, the Watermark Settings Definition dialog box opens.

There are two methods for watermarking (Manual and From Image File), and both methods have different setting options.

With Manual watermarking, the user can enter the following values to create a watermark:

  • Text: Enter the text the user desires to use as the watermark (for example: paid, overdue, cancelled, void, confidential).

  • Font: Select the desired font from the drop-down list of system installed fonts.

Some fonts produce better results than others.

  • Font color: Select one of the many colors of the system color palette.

  • Font size: Select the desired font size.

    • Rotation: Select the desired orientation angle of the text on the image.

When creating a watermark From Image File, the user can import an image instead of entering the text for the watermark.

  • File: Enter the path of the image file to be used as the watermark. Accepted file types:

    • TIF

    • JPG

    • BMP

    • GIF

    • PNG

  • Zoom: Select the zoom level of the image upon importing.

  • Convert color image to grayscale: Converts colored images to grayscale.

Position: Select from the default list of locations or enter the X and Y pixel coordinates for where the watermark should go.

Opacity: Select the transparency of the watermark.

Processing option: Select which pages get processed for watermarking.
