ApplicationXtender Application Settings

The ApplicationXtender client must to be installed on the system(s) used to define and run this migration. Additionally, when executing this migration, it will consume an ApplicationXtender license for the time it takes to complete the migration.

Application: Click Select... to choose the application for this Document Type.

Data Source: Specify the Data Source.

Leave this field blank to use the Default Data Source instead.

User Name: Enter the appropriate ApplicationXtender user name.

Password: Enter the appropriate ApplicationXtender password.

ApplicationXtender Options

Append pages to existing documents: Enable this option to automatically append pages to existing documents when the index values match. 

Selecting this option then enables these additional options:

Revision Check In Action: Choose from one of the following ApplicationXtender revision options:

  • Check in as same revision
  • Check in as major revision
  • Check in as minor revision

Revision Note: Customize a unique note attached to the record in ApplicationXtender upon migration.

Multiple Record Behavior:

  • One document for each record: Select this option to migrate a single document with a single record respectively.
  • One document for all records: Select this option to migrate a single document with all multi-record indexes associated.
  • One document with first record only: Select this option to migrate only the first record of a multi-record index with each associated document.

This feature is used primarily when the user desires to migrate a second time or to a second library. Where to first library contains all multi-records and the second one contains only the first record; usually for security reasons.

Enable support for Centera Storage when migrating: Enable this option to allow Centera Storage support for migrated content.

Image file options

Migrate image files: Select this option to output the image files (Tiff, GIF, JPEG, and so on).

  • Image output type: Select the image output type.

  • JPEG quality: The default is 75, which is a good blend between quality and size. Raising the number increases size and may increase the quality of the file. This setting affects Color, Grayscale, and JPEG files only.

OCR and Extended File Format file options

Migrate OCR or Extended File Format files: Select this option to output the OCR files that are created in the OCR module.

Files to migrate: Select which files you would like to migrate.

  • OCR workflow step position: Determine the position of the OCR workflow step.
