Options

• Naming method: Give a name to the image using Page Name, Trigger Value, or Index Field.
• Index field name: Specify the index field name when selecting index field as the naming method.

• Limit processing to region on page: Select to limit processing to a specific region, otherwise processing is done to the entire page.

  Only applies to image processing commands that support region processing.

  It is important to note that attempting to limit a region on an image processing command that is meant to apply to an entire page, such as Binarize, can yield undesired results.

• Region to Process: Set a region on an image to be cropped. Fields X and Y denote the coordinates at the top left corner in pixels. Width and Height denote the size in pixels of the resulting image.

  The X and Y coordinates change depending on the resolution (DPI) of the image being captured. Do not use this option when capturing images with varying resolutions.

Clicking Select Region opens the Region Selector, where you can set a region with your mouse. Point to the top left of the region desired, click and hold the left mouse button, drag to the opposite corner of the desired region, and then let go of the left mouse button. A red outlined region appears. The location and the size of the zone are indicated at the bottom of the Region Selector.

Region Selector buttons	Description
Select Template Image	Loads a sample image. This image must have the same resolution as the image captured later in order for the region location and size to be accurate.
Save Region	Closes the Region Selector and populates the location and size values in the corresponding fields on the Options tab, based on the created region in the Region Selector.
Zoom In / Out	Zooms in or out.
