Output file options
Storage Location: The storage location specifies the directory where the output file is written to when migrating this document type. We recommend to use a different storage location for each document type.
If the user specifies Overwrite Output File in the Output File Write Mode and anything other than All Files in Storage Location\Batch Folder in the Shared File Options\File Directory Structure section, each batch that is migrated overwrites the output load file of the previous batch.
Specify a storage location by selecting one from the list or by clicking Add.
Storage locations can also be defined in Configuration: Storage.
-
Add: Opens the Storage Location Definition dialog box, where a new storage location can be defined. When the new storage location is saved, it is added to the list of storage locations and is automatically selected for the user.
Output type: Select the output type.
Output file naming: Select which option the output file should share a name with.
Output fixed file name: If you selected Fixed Name in the Output File Naming list, enter a valid file name in this field.
Document path output: Select one of the following:
-
Absolute Paths (C:\images\my batch\)
-
Relative Paths (my batch\)
Data Group company: Enter the data group company name.
Data Group company ID: Enter the data group company ID.
Project name: Enter the project name.
Output Full Text data files for images: Select this option to output OCR text for your image files.
This function requires the OCR workflow step to create the OCR text files.
Output file encoding: Specify the encoding type that suits your business needs and your PaperVision/Image Silo configuration.
Create PaperVision submit file: Select this option to create a PaperVision submit file to migrate to the PaperVision/Image Silo installation. The following settings apply once this feature is enabled:
-
Submit file naming: Specify the naming scheme for the submit file. Proceed to the next option if selecting Fixed Name.
-
Submit file fixed name: Specify the fixed name for the submit file (if applicable).
Image file options
Migrate image files: Select this option to output the image files (Tiff, GIF, JPEG, and so on).
-
Storage Location: Specify a storage location by selecting a pre-defined location or configuring a new one.
-
Image source: Select the image source:
-
Main Image: Images imported to PSIcapture are rasterized and set to the specified DPI within the Capture/Import workflow step configuration. These images are then displayed in the viewer (preview window).
-
Original Image: Source the original image imported from the file system before any rasterization would occur in a Capture/Import workflow step or otherwise be modified by PSIcapture in any way.
-
Alternate Images: Alternate images can be created at various times during the workflow (that is, Image Processing, Capture/Import workflow step configuration, or other).
-
-
Image output type: Select the image output type.
-
JPEG quality: The default is 75, which is a good blend between quality and size. Raising the number increases size and may increase the quality of the file. This setting affects Color, Grayscale, and JPEG files only.
-
Tags to output: When Alternate Images are selected as the image source, you can specify the image tag here. Only alternate images with the matching tag are outputted.
Separate multiple tags using commas.
-
Alt. page behavior: Select the alternative page behavior: One document with all tags, or One document with each tag.
