Bates stamping
Bates stamping is a legal industry standard for organizing and numbering multi-page legal documents. PSIcapture provides two methodologies for applying Bates stamping: Capture Bates stamping and Migration Bates stamping. Capture Bates stamping applies Bates stamps during the initial capture phase of a workflow. Migration Bates stamping applies Bates stamps in the Migration phase of a workflow, which is typically the final phase.

Bates stamping can be enabled and modified from the following locations:

On the Image Modification tab of the Capture / Import workflow step.

On the Pre-Processing tab of a Migration workflow step.
After enabling Bates stamping by selecting the Enable Bates stamping check box and clicking Setup, the Bates Stamping Settings Definition dialog box appears.
The Bates stamping function in the Migration module affects only image files and not OCR files. You can use third-party plug-ins to Adobe Professional to handle this task.
