Roles

Roles can be configured to customize what modules, security and configuration zones, and capture profiles a user can modify, create, or delete.

Security roles help define how users can access specific product areas of PSIcapture. Administrators can fine-tune what modules, functions, and even capture profiles can be accessed by specific users. This topic describes how to blend Windows LDAP and/or custom user security options as an administrator.

Toolbar element	Description
Add Role	Create and configure a new role.
Role	Opens the Role menu, where you can view and edit role-related settings.
Refresh	Refreshes the screen to reflect any recent activity.
