Imported file options

The following post-import actions are available:

• None: When using Auto Import, files are archived to the Archive subdirectory within the monitored folder directory.

• Archive Imported Files: You must select where to archive the files and also determine how subfolders should be archived:

  • No Subfolders: All archived files are put directly in the selected folder without creating a subfolder.

  • Batch Name: Archived files are put in a subfolder within the selected directory, which is named after the batch where the files were imported to.

  • Import Date: Archived files are put in a subfolder within the selected directory, which is named after the date when the files were imported.

  • Import Date/Batch Name: Archived files are put in a subfolder within the selected directory, named after the date when the files were imported, and then in a child subdirectory, named after the batch where the files were imported to.

• Delete Imported Files: Once the Auto Import has finished, PSIcapture deletes the files from the monitored folder.

Selecting the check box stores the original image from the import source files separately before any modifications are performed. Users can view this alternate page through Page Information in the Capture, Quality Assurance, and Index modules.
