User

  • Details: Opens the Properties tab of the Edit User Details dialog box, where you can change the details of the user.

  • Role Membership: Opens the Roles tab of the Edit User Details dialog box, where you can edit specific roles for the user by selecting or clearing the desired boxes.

  • History: Opens the History tab of the Edit User Details dialog box, where you can view the activity history of the user.

    History tracks the following user-related actions:

    • Login/Logout: PSIcapture collects the computer name and the login/logout times for the associated user.

    • User Settings: When updating a user, PSIcapture logs the specific setting that was changed to the event history of both that user and the editing user.

    • Create Role: Logged in the history of the user that created the role.

    • Delete Role: Logged in the history of the user that deleted the role

    • Changes to System Permissions on a Role: Logged in the history of the user that updated the role.

    • Changes to Capture Profile Permissions on a Role: Logged in the history of the user that updated the role.

    The filter tool can be used in each column to narrow down the list.

    Print History: Opens the Print Preview dialog box, where the administrator or the selected user can print out the history list of the viewed user.

    Export History: Exports the history of the selected user to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

  • Change Password: Alters the current password of the user.

    Password complexity is enforced. The minimum requirement is 6 or more characters with at least 1 non-alpha character.

  • Enabled: Selected users can be disabled or enabled. A disabled user is not able to log in to PSIcapture.

  • Delete: Completely removes the profile of the selected user.
