Configuring Dropbox
The configuration properties dialog box is the same for the Dropbox eConnector and Dropbox components, although some options can only be configured from the Dropbox eConnector component.
Dropbox component options
Option | Description |
---|---|
Activate | Use this combo box to activate the Dropbox component. You can use one of the
following alternatives:
This option is only enabled for the Dropbox eConnector component. |
Pass through | Set this option to Yes to pass the original document to
subsequent components in the workflow. If this option is set to
No, the component won't pass the input documents to the
subsequent components in the chain. You can use one of the following alternatives:
This option is only enabled for the Dropbox eConnector. |
Token Vault URL |
Enter the fully qualified Token Vault URL with port number. |
Provider ID |
Enter the ID of that Authorization Provider, which was set up in Token Vault to work with this AutoStore component. |
Local user account |
In this text box, specify a domain user account that will be used by the workflow. The accepted format is UPN (User Principal Name) – testuser@test.domain.corp Make sure that the account specified in this text box has completed the
authorization and consent process through Token Vault. Otherwise, the
component will fail to process files through this account.
You may use RRTs in this text box. When you use an RRT, make sure that it is replaced with a domain user account in UPN format; otherwise, the component will fail to process files and they will be rejected. |
Default Folder | Enter the directory path within the Dropbox account where the documents will
be routed. For example, you could use MyFolder1/SubFolder1.
You can manually enter the path or click the browse button (...) to select the default folder. If the specified directory does not exist, it will be created. Use the slash symbol (/) as the delimiter between folder names, but do not put it at the beginning or end of the Dropbox directory value. Do not use the / as part of a folder name. The component uses as its root folder the App/Autostore folder on the service, that is created in App folder on the service; hence, the path of the root folder is Apps/Autostore. The name of the App folder depends on the
locale of the Dropbox service account at creation time. For example, for English
locale it will be App, for French it is
Applications and so forth.
|
Overwrite existing file | Select this check box to overwrite an existing file with the same name as the routed document. If this option is not selected, an error message is generated when a file with the same name as the routed document already exists in the destination folder. |
Rename file | Select this check box if you want to change the name of the routed document. In the box, enter the schema for renaming the document. If no rename schema is provided, the default rename schema is ~DBR::FileName~_~DBR::Counter~.~DBR::FileExt~. |
Replace invalid characters with "_" | Select this check box to replace characters that are not allowed in file names with the underscore character. |
Create link | Set this option to Yes to specify the availability of
uploaded files for other users. When this option is set to Yes,
Sharable Link RRT to access to uploaded files will be created and made available.
You can use one of the following alternatives:
This option is only enabled for the Dropbox eConnector component. |
Separator | Enter the type of delimiter to be used between URLs. |
