Work with the scan client
The Scan Client is used by both system administrators and regular users, however, administrators have access to addition features and functions.
Regular users would use the Scan Client to:
- View the status of the their own scan jobs
- View detailed information about recent scans
- Access partially completed scans that have failed and download them to their local machine
- Delete their own failed scan jobs
System administrators can do everything that users do, as well as:
- Monitor the current status of all scan jobs from all systems
- Change the priority of scans in the queue
- Cancel scan jobs
- View scans by department
- View the device where the scans were sent from
If the user has other applications installed beside the Scan Client, click Home to go to the Web System Manager landing page.
