IMAP Capture main configuration window
The main configuration window allows you to configure general settings of the component that are not related to a particular server, mail account, or set of search criteria.
The component can be configured to process messages from several IMAP accounts. Each account has associated email classes. An email class specifies the criteria according to which the component will search for email messages in the account. The exact criteria are defined in the Email Class Configuration dialog box. You can see the order of accounts and their email classes in the tree. Accounts are represented as first level elements and classes as their children nodes.
One account can have several associated email classes. For example, you can add two or more classes that will search for messages from different senders and pass them into different workflows.

Accounts processing order |
Use this group of settings to specify the processing order that the component will use at its work.
The component processes specified accounts using the following basic logic: the processing starts with the first account in the tree and goes down through the list of all accounts until it reaches the end; then the component continues checking accounts again from the top. Use the options of this group to specify the behavior of the component when it detects an account which has a message that satisfies a criterion of this account. Checking an account consists of checking the list of associated email classes in the descending order until some class matches a new message that meets class criteria. |
Top to bottom | Select this option if you want the component to start checking emails with the first account in the list after each processed message. |
Cyclic |
Select this option if you want the component to continue checking accounts in sequence after having processed a message.
This options means, that after the component detects a message to be captured and captures this message, it continues to check account in the descending order. |
Home directory | Specify the directory which the component will use for temporarily storing its working files. You may do it manually or click the browse button (...) to navigate to a desired directory. |
Automatically create at run time |
Select this check box, if you want the component to create the folder, specified by Home directory,
if it does not already exist.
If you do not select this check box and specify an nonexistent folder in Home directory, the component will prompt to create the folder when you click OK to close the dialog box. |
