Reset the card reader factory defaults

If you plan to delete the Ethernet card reader from the system, you must reset the card reader to its factory default settings.

  1. Go to System Manager > Devices and select one or more card readers.
  2. Select Reset to factory settings from the Select Action drop-down list.
  3. In the Reset Kofax Card Reader(s) dialog box, select the DCS (Device Control Server) Server and click Yes to reset the card reader to its factory defaults.
  4. After resetting the defaults, you can select Delete from the Select Action drop-down list, and click Yes in the warning pop-up.
