Main dialog box
VIP configuration dialog box provides the following options.
Option | Description |

Activate filter | Select this check box to make the component active. If this box is not checked, the component won't perform any actions during files processing. |
Reject job on failure | Select this check-box to reject a job when the component fails to process input files. All the documents in the job will be rejected if the component fails to process any input file. If this check-box is not selected the component will skip the failed file and continue the job. |
File options | This group of options allows you to specify the way of processing initial files. |
Modify original image | If this option is selected, original image will be modified. |
Copy and modify | If this option is selected, initial image is copied to the working directory; the copy is modified by VIP filter. This configuration keeps both files (original image and modified copy) for further processing by the workflow. |
Delete original image | This check box is enabled only if the Copy and modify option is selected. If you select the combination Copy and modify & Delete original image, initial image is copied to working directory; the copy is modified by VIP filter profile; and the original image is deleted from the source directory. |
Profile | Select or create a new profile. Profile is an XML file containing a combination of filters used by the component and the output format settings. |
Active profile | Select an existing profile. This will bring up standard Windows browse dialog box. The path to the selected filter profile will be displayed in the text box. You can use RRTs in this field. |
New profile | Click this button to create a new profile. The component will ask to save the new profile as an XML file. After saving the file, the component will open the Edit Profile dialog box to configure the profile. |
Edit profile | Click this button to open the Edit Profile dialog box. |
