Move a device

You can use drag and drop or a shortcut menu command to move a device.

Devices can be organized into device groups. Once groups are created, devices and groups can be easily moved in the tree as necessary.

  1. In the Devices tree, click and drag a device or device group to a different location in the tree.
    As you drag the item a yellow arrow will appear to the left of the tree to indicate where the item will be placed.
  2. Right-click a device in the Devices tree and click Move to Group, then when prompted, select the group where you want to move the device.
