External print queues

Equitrac supports integration with LRS VPSX, InfoPrint Manager and SEAL print output management systems using external print queues through Equitrac devices. Users can simultaneously release jobs that are held in the Equitrac secure print queue as well as jobs which are held in the associated external print queue.

In order to use VPSX, InfoPrint or SEAL print queues in ControlSuite, the DCE server that those queues are associated with must have the registry value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Equitrac\Common\UseLegacyJobHelper set to "1".

When this registry value is set to "1", DCE does not call Print Job Management and is only able to get jobs from Equitrac, VPSX, InfoPrint and SEAL. DCE will not be able to get jobs from Output Manager or Microsoft Universal Print.
